Come join our Mobile Apps Team! Fluidra is seeking a Flutter Software Engineer that will bring their expertise in cross platform app development to support the company's efforts in bringing connectivity and software controls to Pool automation.
This will be a Hybrid position based out of our North American Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
This person will be an excellent team player for the Fluidra IoT mobile apps team that will bring their expertise in cross platform app development. This includes working with the team to engineer cross-platform solutions that are maintainable, reusable, and support the company's efforts in bringing connectivity and software controls to pool equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proven record of effectively working with peers in a cross functional team, both in person and remote. This is an opportunity to join a successful and fast-growing team that is working on interesting and challenging projects. Additionally, you will:
- Develop portions of the company's mobile apps using Flutter to support the company's hardware products
- Given product requirements, develop software implementations that result in high quality user experiences
- Proactively look for and implement solutions to fix platformspecific performance problems and the UI / UX of the application
- Regularly communicate with other groups in the IoT team to solve problems and align on priorities
- Promote and thrive in a professional, people first work culture
WHAT WE SEEK
- 1+ years' experience developing mobile apps using Flutter
- Excellent understanding of mobile app development
- Understanding of socket based networking and asynchronous computing methods
- Experience using GIT
- Experience in agile software development
PREFERRED
- Prior experience developing fully native apps for iOS or Android
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-Driven: ability to thrive given broad goals and autonomy to execute
- Ability and flexibility to work with teams across multiple time zones
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science or another related field
