Location: REMOTE
Salary: 130-140K
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Firmware Engineer w/ Rust for a permanent/direct hire position that can sit completely remotely.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Designing, implementing, and documenting efficient, robust, and maintainable embedded software
- Maintaining and improving existing software Integrating third-party hardware and software libraries and working with third-party vendors to resolve problems with integration
- Participate in the design of communications protocols
- Adding to and maintaining codebase documentation
- Evaluating and aiding in the selection of new components
- Strong programming skills using Rust
- Experience developing a project from scratch including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Embedded experience, including basic understanding of circuits and ability to read schematics.
- Skilled at diagnosing and debugging hardware and software issues
- You should also be able to: work independently and contribute ideas and solutions to complex problems
- Experience with bare metal arm cortex development a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Lean software development methodology a plus.
- Experience in building cross-platform applications a plus.
