What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute a strategy for tagging and analyzing our cloud resources.
• You'll be responsible for identifying inefficiencies and carrying out the changes to address them.
• Develop a deep understanding of Deliverr's systems across all areas and work with the engineering team to help understand, plan, and manage their costs

What We're Looking For:

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a related role.
• Insatiable Curiosity, Undying Passion and Ownership to take on hard real world problems.
• Strong understanding of AWS and its primary services
• Experience tagging resources and using reserved instances or savings plans to manage AWS costs
• Experience modifying large-scale production systems through continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Proven track record managing AWS cloud costs
• Experience leading programs and driving technical decisions that impact multiple teams

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Experience with other cloud services we use, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Algolia
• Experience with observability tools, such as Datadog or New Relic

• Independent Service Oriented Architectures with services composed of:
  • Java, Spring and MySQL RDS.
  • Node, Typescript, MySQL RDS.
  • React and Redux for UI.
• DynamoDB for integration services.
• SQS for queuing.
• We run on AWS.
