As a Field Engineer you will:

• Evangelize the OctoML deployment platform through demonstrations, blog posts and conferences.
• Become an expert in the OctoML offerings and enable the Sales and Customer Success teams to provide prompt and accurate solutions to customer's needs.
• Develop and execute on an operational support strategy that helps our customers continue to grow and be successful on TVM and the OctoML platform.
• Explain transformational concepts to decision-makers and influence technology strategy.
• Be excited to try new technologies, using all available tools at your disposal to prove out integrations with ML, DevOps and/or Hardware solutions.
• Have an interest and passion for Machine Learning.
• Possess exceptional customer focus and a bent for action, you must work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust while communicating a direction that inspires results.
• Mentor and role model for your colleagues.

What we look for:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with infrastructure technologies (Docker, K8s, Linux, CI/CD, Cloud).
• Experience presenting and influencing technology strategy, executives through developers.
• Ability to break down complex problems and resolve them through customer consultation and execution.

Ideally you will also have:

• 3+ years of experience working with aspects of the ML lifecycle, either as an ML Engineer or working with at an MLOps company.
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following: PyTorch, Tensorflow, TFLite, ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, CUDA.
• Experience working with edge devices in the context of Machine Learning.
• Experience in information security and risk management including compliance, authentication, federation, encryption, and network security.
