ETL Software Developer
Q2 is seeking a ETL Software Developer who will be integral to a small, top-talent team tasked with contributing to a growing business in a space that is begging for innovation. You will help plan, design, develop, test, and debug, highly available/scalable applications and services. Our ETL process are built using Azure Data Factory and synchronize data to Azure Synapse (Data Warehouse). We are looking for a skilled ETL Developer to help build and maintain ETL processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, integrate, and test ETL solutions of moderate complexity comprised of Microsoft/Azure Environment
- Work individually and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems
- Support, maintain, and resolve problems for custom features in live production systems, with occasional on-call availability
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
- Assist and mentor teammates to provide technical leadership and evangelize best practices
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 5 + years of software development experience
- Proficiency in T-SQL. Must know how to create functions, stored procedures, and complex select queries without the use of query design tools.
- Proficiency in one or more ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, Stitch, Panoply, etc..
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server & SQL Server Data Tools (SSMS, SSDT).
- Knowledge of ETL Best Practices.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing—Design principals, best practices, data-governance, data-lineage, etc..
- Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services’ Multidimensional or Tabular models.
- Knowledge of C#, XML, JSON, a plus.
- Proficiency in C#, SQL and .NET
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Experience contributing in an Agile development environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Occasional availability for on-call/emergency support
