ERP Developer - Senior-Level
Overview
The Squires Group has an excellent direct hire opportunity for a Senior-Level ERP Developer near Fort Meade, MD. Work with a team of dynamic experts on a major PeopleSoft Applications Federal Financial/Supply Chain implementation that will provide a myriad of new capabilities for business operations. The overall goal is for the Government Agency to achieve a sustainable, "clean" audit of its financial statements. Consultants interested in this position must be willing to do what it takes, to multi-task, and work as part of a collaborative team.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Fullscope Poly.

Responsibilities
- Assist in design and development of Peoplesoft applications based on business requirements
- Upgrade and modify Peoplesoft applications
- Assist in preparing project plan and technical and functional specifications
- Perform code reviews and recommend improvements
- Identify and troubleshoot coding issues in a timely manner
- Provide support in system testing and bug fixing activities
- Provide support in all phases of software development life cycle
- Conduct end-user training when needed and prepare user documentations
- Recommend new coding techniques to ensure quality and usability
- Program solutions using the People Tools suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field (6 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree).
- Proficiency in information systems implementation, change management efforts, or business process redesign
- Expert level experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other business systems
- Proficiency developing, prototyping, testing solutions for information systems implementation
- Experience applying broad management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to lead information systems projects
- In-depth technical development experience implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other business systems
- Experience providing subject matter expertise in industry, process, or technology areas
- Technical development experience implementing PeopleSoft is a plus!
