Job Description

  • Responsible for the recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or injury among the employees and/or citizens of the community.
  • Coordinates the monitoring of workplace environments and acts as a liaison to appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. U.S. typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in ergonomics in an industrial work environment, or a Masters Degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics/Biomechanics
  • Degree must be in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Kinesiology, Healthcare, or related field.



Must have unrestricted right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ergonomics certification (AEP, CPE) or willingness to become certified AEP/CPE.
  • A self-starter with the drive and enthusiasm to serve as an ergonomics champion for the site.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the willingness to positively interact with and influence customers, peers, and management building long-lasting partnerships in the process.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ergonomics principles, analysis methodologies, and relevant standards/guidelines.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience performing ergonomics evaluations in an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to thrive in a highly cross-functional team environment with demonstrated willingness to lead teams.
  • Robust Communication, organization, and project management skills.



Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
