Job Description:

In this position you will work as part of an overall Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team and will be primarily responsible for the development, coordination, continuous improvement and management of specific ergonomics programs and processes onsite. Ensuring compliance with local federal-state health and safety regulations, industry requirements, and Intel's corporate standards which may also involve close liaison with Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and Safety Engineers. Examples of ergonomics programs include office, facilities and manufacturing cleanroom support across operational and maintenance activities. In addition, you will support the overall EHS management system and ISO 45001 standard as applicable which will involve close liaison with EHS engineers.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Conducting ergonomics risk assessments and documenting findings using standard industry and proprietary tools (NIOSH manual handling, fatigue analysis, posture analysis, DUE Strain Index, and biomechanical risk assessments)
  • Act as the subject matter expert in relation to ergonomics programs
  • Maintain and develop relationships with a wide range of internal partner organizations
  • Support injury/accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and define focus areas
  • Develop and document ergonomic improvement opportunities and work with management and safety/ergonomics team to implement solutions



Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in ergonomics in an industrial work environment, or a Masters Degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics/Biomechanics
  • Degree must be in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Kinesiology, Healthcare, or related field.
  • Must have unrestricted right to work in the U.S.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ergonomics certification (AEP, CPE) or willingness to become certified AEP/CPE
  • A self-starter with the drive and enthusiasm to serve as an ergonomics champion for the site
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness to positively interact with and influence customers, peers, and management building long-lasting partnerships in the process
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ergonomics principles, analysis methodologies, and relevant standards/guidelines
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience performing ergonomics evaluations in an office and manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to thrive in a highly cross-functional team environment with demonstrated willingness to lead teams
  • Robust Communication, organization, and project management skills
