Department OverviewThe Unified Communications team has a mission to become the leader in creating a highly scalable software platform and communication applications for first responders and industrial workgroups. Our customers rely on these solutions to run their critical business operations in the public safety, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors. Every single day, we are shaping the future of mobile workgroup solutions for public safety and industrial users worldwide leveraging Motorola’s rich heritage in this space. Our solutions include broadband Push to Talk (PTT), multimedia messaging, location based collaboration, video streaming with full interoperability with land mobile radio (LMR) systems. The products include client apps on Android, iOS, and Windows. Our backend software can be deployed On-Prem, in private data centers, or in a public cloud infrastructure.

You'll be working on the development and integration of Broadband Push to Talk technology on various devices operating systems including iOS, Android and Feature Phone with Push to Talk features.
Design and development of Android, iOS and Feature phone applications for Push to Talk.
Knowledge of Android Studio and Xcode for software development and debugging.
Knowledge of tools like Wireshark, QXDM, adb to analyze logs and isolate
Network/Protocol/Server/Handset application issues pertaining to VoIP protocol (SIP/RTP/RTCP) messages & parameters.
Analyze source code during issue troubleshooting/log analysis.
Develop automation scripts for Push-To-Talk applications for Android and iOS devices
One to two years of Android and IOS application development experience.
Experience in VOIP applications and Telecom networks.
BS or MS degree
Knowledge of any one programming language such as Java, C#/.Net, Python, etc.,.
