As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Elastic on the Enterprise Search team, you will collaborate closely with our Design and Engineering teams to bridge the gap between visual design and implementation, by building and maintaining stateful single page apps across Elastic solutions. Elastic Enterprise Search lets users easily implement powerful, modern search experiences for their websites, apps, or workplaces. Search it all, simply. We’re seeking a talented software engineer and communicator to help realize this vision and push the product and team to new heights.
What You Will Be Doing:
- You’ll contribute frontend code to Enterprise Search in Kibana, a free and open frontend application that sits on top of the Elastic Stack, providing search and data visualization capabilities for data indexed in Elasticsearch. Explore the Enterprise Search frontend code to learn more about the solution you’ll be contributing to and how we work in the open.
- You’ll lead best practices on the frontend, contributing to both a reliable foundation and an engaging user experience. Whether it’s desktop, web, mobile, you will innovate and lead within fresh and interesting applications.
- You’ll drive product focused engineering efforts to invent and ship valuable and meaningful features to an excited market.
- You’ll engage with and lead capable engineers, designers, and many other stakeholders, as we work together to invent and build whimsical and valuable interfaces. We practice teamwork!
- You’ll work in React and JavaScript. We welcome any language background, get deep into Elasticsearch, and our future will open the door to cutting edge technologies and practices.

What You Will Bring:
