Job Description Cloud Platform Architect - ED
Are you excited about cloud and technology? Do you have experience in data center migrations and DC Operations? Do you enjoy solving complex application architecture, scaling, resiliency, networking and security problems with elegant designs? Do you have strong engineering and architectural background?
We're looking for hands-on platform architect to join our architecture team and help build JPMC's firm wide cloud adoption and migration strategy, come and join us!
Significant hands on engineering experience.
Significant Experience in one or more languages such as Java/Python/Go
Significant CI/CD and developer tool chain experience is required
Significant hands on experience in building production solutions and pipelines in the cloud - hands on SRE functions with deep understanding of SLA/SLO/RTO/RPO
Significant hands on experience working with highly scalable platforms
Hands on experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
Hands on experience with infrastructure as code is an advantage
Hands on experience regarding governance risk and compliance is a plus
Hands on experience in building enterprise wide platforms or cloud PaaS/SaaS services is an advantage
Hands on experience in working with AWS technologies and migration from datacenters to the cloud
Hands on experience in building Streaming/Event-based architecture is an advantage
Hands on experience with SLA / SLO as it relates to SRE and the resiliency semantics for high availability
Hands on experience identifying gaps and building standards and best practices
Hands on experience building proof of concepts and educating teams on the use thereof

About the Team The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
