Lead the long range planning for the structure and interaction of the enterprise's major types/sources of data, information needs, and business processes/strategy. Responsible for decisions/priorities regarding the overall enterprise's architecture. Translate business needs into architectural solutions (current and target state) and defining solutions to problems through application of information technology. Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards/guidelines that direct integration of multiple platforms. Develop/document the framework for integration/implementation for changes to architectural standards. Determine architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability and security needs. Provide technical guidance to project team. Coach the development of Jr. IT architects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.
Special Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 year of experience in the job offered or 3 year of experience in an Information Technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience in an Information Technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 year of experience. Must have 3 years of experience with the following: TOGAF Certification; Modeling tools: Sparx and Visio; Understanding of Business Architecture/BizBok; Application Development Experience - full stack development; Application Architecture TOGAF Certification; Modeling tools: Sparx and Visio; development; and Application Architecture.
*Employer will accept one year directly related work experience in lieu of one year of education*
