Position Overview:
The mission of the Enterprise Architect is to provide strategic technical leadership that enables business success as impacted by technology and its application to business systems (integrated technology, process, and work done by people). The Enterprise Architect will accomplish this mission in environments where ATG's clients face a variety of enterprise challenges around Q2C systems associated with the ATG Monetization Ecosystem™ such as enterprise transformation, digital transformation, rapidly changing business models, technology, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Architect will primarily assess, architect, design, facilitate, lead and direct enterprise architecture in multiple contexts while working closely with the ATG Advisory and Transformation team and the ATG Delivery organization as we guide our clients to be successful with all aspects of their new or evolving Enterprise Architecture. Additionally, the Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing training material and working with others at ATG to be successful with assessments and implementations.

Key Experience:
- 10 years of experience in software engineering
- 5 years of current experience defining and implementing enterprise architecture strategies including hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud
- M.S. Software Engineering, or B.S. Software Engineering / M.S. Information Technology Management, or Equivalent Formal Education
- MBA preferred but not required
- Current Salesforce Technical Architect certification a plus
- Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
- Strong understanding of Cloud-first, Lift-and-shift, Multi-cloud and Hybrid-cloud architectural solutions and integration patterns
- Strong experience architecting for iPaaS/Integration solutions including API Management and Security
- Experience creating technical architectures using architecture and design patters that resulted in successful implementation of a broad range of Application and Data implementation, orchestrations, and integration
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and other Cloud Platforms
- Recent experience architecting for Big Data solutions a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in the design of complex enterprise systems and their respective architectures
- Discovering and gathering system requirements
- Analyzing single and integrated IT systems across platforms/networks
- Formulation of solution contexts
- Identifying and assessing solution alternatives
- Assessing and selecting alternative technologies
- Articulating all levels of comprehensive enterprise architectures and diagramming same
- Strong understanding and ability to articulate key standards, frameworks, and body of knowledge (e.g. EABOK, TOGAF, DoDAF, TISAF, Zachman)
- Strong capabilities with common tools-of-the-trade (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, UML, BPM, Heatmaps, Value Chain, Time Aware Modeling, Responsibility Assignment Matrix, Logical Architecture Diagram, IT Diagram, Patterns)
- Multi-cloud architecture

- Creation and maintenance of infrastructure supporting complex application environment(s)
- Cross-platform design, build, integration and maintenance

- User experience: Impact of architecture/design on end user
- Uses recognized architecture and design methods
- Comfortable deploying parts of methods appropriate to the situation
- Able to produce body of work through repeated successful use of patterns with more than one architecture and design method, applying appropriate parts of different methods as a given situation dictates, and knowing anti-patterns and what methods not to use
- Must have working knowledge of entire project life cycle: requirements elicitation, design, planning, development, testing, implementation and production
- Able to monitor execution of solution design against reference architecture, identify deviations and other issues suggesting risk during project execution, and intervene when appropriate
- Able to gather information during execution of solution design to identify and document lessons learned, inform the trade-offs required in making decisions, and ensure better future decisions
- Listening and engaging in dialogue that supports the success of others on the team
- Must collaborate and think critically in a team-based environment to solve problems
- Assertive in substantiating and making key decisions within areas of primary responsibility
- Ability to articulate complex technical information to all stakeholders, including the non-technical
- Strong focus on working with functional and project managers to make decisions in a timely manner and keep work on track, within budget, schedule and other constraints
Education:
- 4-year degree in a technical or business field of study preferred
- Understanding of the Quote to Cash process (CPQ, Order Management, Billing, and CRM) a plus
- Willingness and ability to travelup to 50%
- Desired locations are ATG Delivery Centers, located in Missoula, MT, Cincinnati, OH, Kansas City, MO or St. Louis, MO, however for senior experienced professionals working virtual may be an option.
