Job Description
Primary responsibility of the architect is to work within the A&F IT and business community to ensure systems are architected utilizing industry best practices, and within the guidelines set forth by A&F.
Support Full System/Solutions architecture needs for our corporate applications space, inclusive of solution discovery and planning for moving custom capabilities into other systems if required. Enterprise Architects work to create options, macro level designs and solve large enterprise problems within our enterprise. Person should be saavy in working with 3rd party partners to deliver the capability and strive to get us to a zero-customization goal for our future HCM cloud project. Experience with RPA, modern integrations platforms and finance systems a plus! This individual should bring a high level of industry and platform expertise to offer best practices and support new ways of working for our teams. Facilitate design patterns which support reuse, test driven development, and simplification of software packages within the organization. Work with local (specific platform) architects and other enterprise architects to design solutions which meet enterprise standards inclusive of integration standards, and drive to the next.
What will you be doing?
Team up application architects, project managers, BAs, 3rd party partners and other enterprise
Identify risks and dependencies and collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders to design a path forward
Develop a strategic executable roadmap with 3rd party partner for how to phase in core HR systems customization removal and migration to cloud based HCM.
Serve as an advanced technical leader and as such, a role model both technically and behaviorally
Document architectural standards and design patterns for reference in decision-making, development and build practices. Ensure leverage and use of the architectural practices, devOps and other standards are built into future and existing projects
Partner with the infrastructure and Security teams on reviews of solutions design, network, role provisioning, and transformation efforts to ensure proper scope, resources and costs allocated for need
What will you need to bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 15+ years experience in various roles of technical leadership within a large-scale organization
Experience with Cloud HCM, Peoplesoft HR/Finance required
