Business Group: ID (Intelligent Devices)

Business Unit: High Performance Organization

Reports to: Engineering Tools Manager

Work Location: Milwaukee, WI

What Rockwell Needs from You

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor.

What You Will Do
  • Integrate the various service offerings within the HPO organization, including PLM, CLM, and other engineering tools
  • Develop a contemporary strategy for product development by identifying future development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
  • Evolve and implement Rockwell's portfolio strategy.
  • Increase developer efficiency by developing a cohesive system of engineering tools and by removing develop tool fatigue.


Skills You Have
  • Strong leadership skills. The ability to inspire excellence and lead by example.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of RA develop practices
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people outside of the RA organization


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening


Preferred Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Proven experience in Product Engineering roles
    • Portfolio management
    • Hardware engineering
    • Software engineering
    • Firmware engineering


  • IT or Project Management experience is a plus
