Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Perform functional systems testing
    • Run diagnostic tests
    • Run OS tests
    • Set up and run automated (MECCS) testing
    • Support Engineering tests
  • Configure systems for proper functioning
    • Setup and configure systems
    • Verify BIOS/Firmware/Software
    • Work closely with GEL Engineering to support chamber set ups
  • Collect and Analyze Data
    • Determine expected results
    • Compare acquired results with expected results
    • Troubleshoot issues
    • Communicate data
  • Continually Acquire New Skills (Software/Hardware) and Knowledge
    • Keep abreast of new technology, development tools, and development techniques
    • Analyze new tools for advantages over current tool sets


Required Experience:

  • Experience with module testing or system knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (multiple Linux and Microsoft distributions) preferred


Education:
Associates/Technical Degree not required but preferred
Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate well with team members and drive for results
• Excellent organizational and management skills and outstanding interpersonal and teamwork• Ability to work under tight timeframes and prioritize competing activities
• Good multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• High degree of self-initiative and ability to think and act independently
