ClickUp is looking for a hard-working Engineering Manager to lead and scale our team and take the platform to all new heights. We’re just as passionate about making our team efficient as we are about saving others time in every aspect of their lives - so we can all focus on what we love most.
You should love the challenge of crafting scalable processes, managing engineering resources to deliver projects on time, and being a strategic partner to the CTO.

Chief Technical Officer
The Role:
- Leading, motivating, and growing a highly diverse team.
- Day-to-day management of engineers, ensuring action items are detailed and followed up on.
- Manage a variety of projects, be able to wear many hats, ultimately hold people accountable, including remote engineering team members.
- Coordinate communication with Product Managers, especially where additional scoping is needed.
- Introduce scalable, repeatable processes that help engineering and product teams deliver a successful product.
- Prevent people from forgetting things.
- Partner closely with CEO, CTO, and product teams to manage change as the team grows and shifts in structure.
- Foster and grow a culture of striving for efficient code and craft team processes that ensure long-term health and team cohesion.
- Manage 1:1s with the engineering team.
- Partner closely with CTO to manage growth and career paths for engineers.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in leadership.
- 4+ years working with a technical team.
- Experience with project management apps.
- Experience with Agile practices.
- Experience working with teams building highly-distributed, large-scale solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
