About the Role

Stitch Fix’s core platform engineering team is looking for an experienced, people-focused and empathetic Engineering Manager to help propel the next generation of infrastructural, reliability and tooling investments. We are responsible for ensuring that Stitch Fix applications, systems and engineers have the tools to be able to withstand the known and unknown issues we’ll encounter as we continue to grow and evolve as a business. We will accomplish this by working across the technology organization to introduce patterns, solutions and processes to make building resilient and scalable systems the default. We’re motivated by a desire to make it easier for our partners in engineering to focus on providing business value without having to spend a lot of time figuring out the nuts and bolts details of the platform they’re building on.

You will manage a team of engineers building some of the critical infrastructure for customer-facing products and solutions and contribute to their overall success. You will spend your time helping your team focus their efforts where they are needed most. Your commitment to building reliable and scalable solutions to business challenges will make you a trusted advisor to your partners and your team.
