Collibra’s Software Engineering Team is evolutionary by nature, and as part of a multi-product cloud company, we are looking for experienced and dedicated Engineering Managers to join our company. 

Engineering Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Leading and growing an inclusive, collaborative, and inspiring team
  • Bringing clarity on the team strategy, context, and company vision
  • Helping the team to set the right expectations with product managers, cross engineering teams, UX, and other stakeholders
  • Understanding the current and future architecture of our software stack
  • Keeping yourself up to date with the industry trends to help the team choose the right tool for the right job

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer and 2+ years as an engineering manager
  • Extensive knowledge of software development and best practices
  • Worked in a multicultural and diverse environment
  • Actively involved in the product strategy and succeed in bringing the team vision

You Are:

  • Able to lead an engineering team by example and produce work/code when needed
  • Excellent in communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Continually looking for best practices, trends and sharing them with the team
  • Ambitious to see your team growing in their career
  • Familiar with Data Management
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and designing systems for resilience, repairability, resilience, scalability is a plus

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, meet the team, get onboarded with our products and practice areas and start leading your team’s Agile practice
  • Within your third month, you will have a good understanding of the team, their challenges and priorities
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a good understanding of the team’s products, and start contributing to the team’s roadmap and strategic vision
