We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to help us shine a light on the world of money for kids and parents. This role will manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers and serve as SRE’s coordinator, communicator, and champion across the company. We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about their team, coaches for high performance in a fast-paced environment and works effectively with their peers and fellow managers to keep the team focused on helping other parts of the organization deliver reliably and consistently on their projects.

What you will be doing:

• Manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers who work closely with our other Engineering teams to provide consistency in monitoring, process, deliverability, and SLO/SLA
• Collaborate with product team leaders to ensure our SREs are involved with projects from the beginning
• Plan, prioritize, track, and deliver on internal and external projects, tasks, and goals
• Champion and advocate for your team across the company
• Provide career path guidance and opportunities for your direct reports
• Build trust by communicating transparently and honestly with all members of the organization

What you should bring:

• You have solid experience leading and managing a software engineering team
• You share our passion for the career growth and self-development of your team members
• You have a willingness to continuously assess the efficiency of our processes, workflows, organizational structure, and the tools we use, and to make adjustments where they’re needed
• You value bringing diverse perspectives to the discussion
• You are able to balance efforts between planning and doing
• You have good written and oral communication skills for communicating the wins, the losses, and the progress on your team’s future wins
• You have a track record of enabling your team to accomplish great things
