Requirements

THE ROLE

The Engineering Manager will lead and manage engineers as well as interface directly with members of our team and client teams. You will also have opportunities to expand upon your skills as a full stack developer, sharing expertise with members of the team, working on a wide variety of client and internal projects.

You will report to our Director of Engineering and manage one of our two engineering teams. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and have been a remote organization since our inception. This position is based anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities

In addition to leading and mentoring engineers, you will:

  • Assist with RFP's, estimation, grooming, and project audits.
  • Iterate on internal development best practices and operations.
  • Write content based on your learning and experiences.

Experience

This role is for individuals with:

  • 6+ years software development experience, including web and/or mobile development.
  • Experience in the JavaScript Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React/React Native and/or Ruby on Rails
  • 2+ years of management experience.
