This engineering manager position is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of developers with a focus on projects that target insights within our care platform. As the leader of this team, you’ll be responsible for partnering with our product team and technical leads to help define and deliver cutting edge features that benefit both our patients as well as our providers.

Responsibilities:

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains departmental supervisory staff
• Creates an environment that nurtures both individual achievement and team excellence through use of team-based management, recognition systems and shared objectives
• Mentor team members in their career development
• Build and maintain collaboration within the team
• Work towards a cohesive application development strategy

Qualifications:

• Excellent written production code in a high level language
• Track record of solving business problems with applied technology
• Track record of building teams and growing team members
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical partners
• Knowledge and understanding of development best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in Healthcare / HIPAA compliant environment a plus
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Experience with 3rd party product APIs and services
• Experience with CRMs/Salesforce, payment systems, a plus
