Department OverviewThe Motorola Solutions EE Engineering team specializes in the design and development of world class digital two-way subscriber radios for the mission critical market. The EE engineering team specializes in both Digital and RF design. We are looking for a self motivated individual to help move forward the next generation public safety experience, and to work with a team of top experienced professionals to enable mission critical services and solutions to a global customer base.
Job Description
Develops, designs, models, and tests radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems. Works on multi-disciplinary teams responsible for integrated product designs.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Responsible for the RF circuit design and test of two way radios. This may include RF circuitry such as BT, Wifi, LTE, and Land Mobile radio Receiver and Transmitter design.
Provide technical oversight to junior RF engineers.
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams during the development of the product.
Develop intellectual property for the corporation.
Drive the regulatory process for certification.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge or experience with FM RF Transceiver design.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
Knowledge or experience with Cadence or similar schematic and layout entry tools required.
Knowledge of RF simulation tools required.
Knowledge of Labview a plus.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree BSEE.
And 3-5 years post-graduate work experience.
