We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader for the Director of Integration Engineering role. This role will support Enterprise 50 and enterprise transformation programs on the full software lifecycle journey from ideation to design and build to implementation. Solutions and artifacts will span multiple domains in support of business and/or technical requirements. Ultimate success will be driven by not just meeting the program's functional needs, but doing so in manner that improves the long term technology ecosystem including improving availability, resiliency, advancing Point of Arrival solutions, and/or decommissioning tech debt and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for solving challenging technical problems and producing elegant solutions as an individual contributor
• Work across multiple engineering and product domains to define strategy and drive solutions
• Influence up/down/across and evangelize modern software engineering principles
• Think out of the box and bring new solutions that advance functional and non-functional measures of success.
• Recruit and lead a group of talented engineers tasked with critical business delivery while driving modernization of our platforms and practices
• Coach and develop talent and promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration and technical excellence
• Work on a fast-paced agile environment with competing initiatives and unplanned events that require rapid adjustment

Proficient in cross-platform integration, middleware and frameworks

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to cater to a diverse audience: executive stakeholder, customer, partner, engineering

Advanced understanding of software design patterns: object oriented, functional, reactive, data-intensive, scalability, availability principles
• Hands-on coding experience in modern programing language
• Experience modeling and architecting complicated business domains and associated methodologies/paradigms: i.e. Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, CQRS
• Expertise in distributed architectural patterns: event driven microservices, distributed transactions: sagas, append-only logs, change data capture, idempotent consumer, eventual consistency
• You have a solid understanding of cloud native principles: service discovery, circuit breakers, observability, distributed tracing, configurability
• Expertise designing elegant and consumable APIs, full dominion of OpenAPI, gateway concepts, authentication/authorization OAuth, JWT
• Expertise in InfoSec practices: penetration testing, cryptography, network security
• Experience leading individual contributors and providing career direction, coaching and development plans
• Ability to instill accountability and achieving results.
• Courage to challenge the status quo and also encourages different points of views to mitigate biased decisions.
• Expertise in building fault-tolerant, scalable solutions that are performed at a global enterprise scale
• University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
