Focus:

Digital Workplace is looking for an enthusiastic Engineer that will contribute to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting software and systems that meet the needs of internal end user applications.

We are looking for passionate engineers to work on our internal servicing platforms with a focus on self-service. This requires emphasis on providing the best colleague digital experience reducing as many friction points as possible. As a member of the team you will work closely with our tech enablement product and delivery teams to understand the servicing journeys in order to further evolve our platform capabilities.

How will you make an impact in this role?

• Beginner to intermediate level of ability in software development, such coding assignments
• Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
• Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals
• Participate in code reviews and automated testing
• Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation
• Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
• Automate deployments in test or production environments
• Automatically scale applications based on demand projections

In order to work in or visit any of our offices in the United States, we require colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Up to 2 years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related experience required
• Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native application design, software development, and automated testing
• Exposure to distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Basic understanding of object-oriented design and coding
• Experience with a variety of languages such as React, Java and Python
• Experience with developing REST, or preferably GraphQL APIs
