Description: Searching for a Data loss Prevention Engineer to support our growing team. This job is 100% remote.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing data loss prevention rules for inefficiencies and faults. Design replacement rules and recommend rule design changes.
• Investigate exception requests to web-usage security controls. Examine rules, business justification, and desire destination website to implement or deny exception requests. Communicate with requestor, team members, and track requests.
• Design, implement, and modify data loss prevention rules within Microsoft 365 data loss prevention controls within Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS) and other administrative portals. Use PowerShell to interface with Microsoft 365 when possible.
• Analyze active network traffic via Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS) application discovery and escalate high risk traffic types for investigation. Investigate upon request.
• Experience administering-policy creation, modification, deployment, analysis-of commercial data loss prevention solution. Includes experience with regular expressions and basic data (rules) analysis via MS Excel or code; 9 months
• Experience administering Office 365 including Compliance Manager, Data Loss Prevention Policies, Data Classification, Insider Risk Management. Includes experience with PowerShell; 4 months.
• Data analysis of log data using MS Excel or code (SQL, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with others on technical issues; 24 months
