Job Description:

The Workplace Investing and HealthCare Production Support team, within EI Production Services organization is looking for a highly motivated associate with expertise in engineering and production operations. As a Director in the WI/HCG Team you will be responsible for building and supporting platform capabilities for Business Unit aligned functions including Application Support, Cloud Enablement, Environment Management, Mid-tier & Web Operations. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture.

You will have the opportunity to leverage all your skills in engineering, modernizing, and testing applications in addition to providing critical production support. You will be encouraged to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver outstanding solutions.

  • Help in developing and executing operational solutions supporting digital platforms
  • Developing tools and capabilities to quickly remediate operational and stability needs
  • Work closely with development and operation teams to help increase speed of delivery, improve stability, and improve platform availability


The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in application and environment support and technology management in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor's degree in technology-related field
  • Capable of partnering with and influencing individuals at all organizational levels
  • Strong competency in expressing complex issues in a clear and concise manner, the ability to drive a message designed to compel thinking and action
  • Agile methodologies experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of On Prem and Public Cloud as well as hands on experience working with public cloud (AWS/Azure)
  • Working experience of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
  • Deep understanding of application tech stacks
  • Experience in Hybrid environments
  • Ability to work across teams to achieve desired results.
