Job Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization within GTI provides access control governance and Identity Services for all lines of business (LOBs) globally, providing the right access to the right people at the right time for all technology platforms and applications supported by TC, and provides a comprehensive set of applications, tools, and staff to globally implement, monitor and manage technology risk solutions.
The successful candidate will work in IAM as a hands-on leader. Candidate will be focused on a number of projects aimed at building out the IAM's strategic agenda leveraging cloud native and distributed technologies, integrating and enhancing the existing infrastructure with new Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) capabilities. This is a part of a major bank wide green-field build out involving global teams of talented developers and is rethinking the way JP Morgan implements Identity and Access Management capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for working with multiple business lines and multiple product and technical teams in order to implement and refine IAM's strategic technical roadmap. The candidate should have a proven track record of application development with skills in GO, Java and .Net, modern software engineering practices (including but not limited to SAGA design patterns, CI/CD, and Cloud native) and building scalable resilient systems. In addition, candidate should have excellent communications skills and be able to build strong relationships with senior MDs within Technology and the business.
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on leadership of a global development team(s)
  • Cross lateral problem solver
  • Working with multiple global teams to implement strategic technical roadmap
  • Recruitment of top talent
  • Conducting performance reviews, appraisals and personal development planning with each team member.
  • Digesting Business Requirements and designing new modules/functionality in partnership with Product teams and customers
  • Ability to understand business processes and map them to strategic solutions
  • Implement Business Management process including resource and financial management
  • Transition to DevSecOps development model
  • Align all programs to key metric and support reporting/commentary to senior leaderships, key stakeholders and clients
  • Through Business Intelligence identify improvement opportunities including: Automation, process re-engineering and workforce management.
  • Develop and maintain Knowledge Management process that supports self-service and improved user experience


Essential:

  • 15+ years of Senior Management Experience leading global application development teams
  • Experience in full stack delivery
  • History of strategic thinking / delivery
  • Change agent, experienced in developing partnerships across stakeholder groups such as Product, Operations and Program Management
  • Have a good understanding of technical architecture and enterprise architecture
  • Ability to develop incremental delivery roadmap and execute on it
  • Experience in Cloud native and distributed design patterns
  • History of working in an agile development environment
  • TDD, automated regression testing
  • Excellent core programming skills (Java, Go), core Cloud (AWS, Google or Azure) skills
  • Multi-threaded Programming and Transaction Handling (JMS, Kafka, GraphQL)
  • Experience working on high throughput mission critical platforms
  • Leadership by example, coaching and creating an environment for continuous improvement


Desirable (but not essential):

  • Past experience with Identity Access Management technologies or Front Office Order Management Systems
  • Technology Risk and Controls, RCSA or other auditing methodologies
  • Understanding of ITIL and Identity & Access Management concepts is advantageous. Equally experience of Agile and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery is also highly desirable.
  • Experience with highly scalable and resilient systems
  • Experience with ETL/ELT/DataMesh frameworks
  • Experience with NoSQL Database technologies
