As a Director of Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, within Community & Consumer Business, you lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery.
Job responsibilities

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives
• Accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
• Carries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations
• Work with cross functional technology partners - engineering, architecture & Infrastructure teams
• Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams
• Champions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Understanding of specialized data classifications and AWS data protection mechanisms, data-encryption methods and AWS mechanisms to implement them.
• Hands-on experience developing, architecting, and running ML or deep learning workloads in the AWS Cloud
• Experience in performing basic hyperparameter optimization
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks
• Working knowledge and ability to follow model-training, deployment, and operational best practices
• Experience in AWS data analytics services integration into data lifecycle of collection, storage, processing, and visualization
• Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
