InvestNext is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead efforts in building and managing additional sprint teams. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring and retaining great engineering team talent. You will also be working closely with engineering and product leadership to define new processes that will help us scale and optimize our resources.
**This is a remote position reporting to the CTO; hybrid working arrangements are currently available in Detroit, Boulder, and San Diego**

Responsibilities:
- Recruit & Hire Engineers, Engineering Team Leads, and related roles - we're scaling and building new teams from the group up.
- Sprint Team Optimization - increasing through put, removing impediments, team KPI accountability.
- Sprint Team Management - ensuring team members have the support they need to be successful.
- Act as the liaison between Product and Engineering teams
- Upholding Agile practices - we're focused on value with everything we ship. Our agile practices keeps us true to the why and the ability to quickly adapt to customer feedback.
Requirements
- Work experience as a director of engineering, team lead or a similar senior-level position within an engineering department
- Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Proven leadership qualities with a focus on building performant engineering teams
- Excellent project management skills
Preferred:
- Experience with engineering team KPIs
- Experience in FinTech
- Experience with Real Estate or Real Estate Investments

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, environment while efficiently and effectively managing competing priorities

Benefits
Status: Full-Time
Salary: $170,000-220,000 DOE
