SparkCognition's DeepArmor Team is looking for an innovative and outcome driven Director of Engineering to join us to help evolve the next generation of endpoint protection and artificial intelligence solutions in the Cybersecurity field. You will help lead a large cross-functional team, ensuring quality and on-time deliverables to deliver value to the industry leading endpoint protection product, DeepArmor.
Responsibilities:

• Provide hands on assistance as needed across cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Science, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance and Technical Writing
• Provide leadership, growth and guidance to direct reports across functional areas
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and development throughout the team
• Instill "doing the right thing" over "just getting it done" within the team - leading by example
• Communicating to leadership and team members status updates early and often
• Owning the completion of committed sprints and deliverables for the product suite without sacrificing quality
• Work with leadership, product owner and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, provide suggestions on product roadmap and provide technology feedback

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of leading cross-functional software engineering teams as a Senior Manager or similar level
• Experience with leading and delivering multiple generations of cybersecurity products
• Proven success working cross-functionally and contributing to the product strategy to successfully deliver on the product roadmap
• Project Management experience (Experience with JIRA a plus)
• Hands on experience in software development
• Passionate about technology and cybersecurity
• Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills with the ability to explain approach to all levels in the organization including key stakeholders
• Are a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Cybersecurity, CISSP or equivalent certification
• Experience programming with C# and Python
• Experience leading teams with TDD
• Experience with Machine Learning or Deep Learning
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines
• Experience with GCP or Azure cloud environments
