NuORDER has a strong history of innovation and has built the leading wholesale B2B commerce platform in the cloud. This role will focus on the rapidly growing retail portion of our application. You will be in charge of building and maintaining teams, scaling services, helping architect solutions, continuously improving engineering processes, and maintaining collaboration between product development teams.

What you'll do:

• Lead a team that is building a platform for B2B commerce managing complex data integration, algorithms and analytics managing frontend and backend development.
• Run an efficient metrics-based team process to execute on business priorities in a timely and predictable manner.
• Build highly reliable and scalable platform components with streamlined deployments, alerting/monitoring, and security of the next generation B2B commerce platform.
• Hire and retain top talent in the industry.
• Coach/mentor individual contributors into more senior roles including design and code reviews and 1 on 1s.

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on Engineering manager with 5+ years history of success leading teams of 5-10 people for large-scale SaaS companies.
• Great communication skills, continuous learning, and bias for action. 
• Experience in building and managing global and diverse teams.
• Strong Engineering background, understanding systems architecture, focus on scale, resilience and quality for data intensive applications.
• Experience with strongly typed languages such as Go, Java, Typescript.
• Knowledge and understanding of good frontend practices. Experience in React is a strong plus. 
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge is a plus.
• Proven track record of coaching/mentoring individual contributors into more senior roles
• Great team player with passion for encouraging cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
• Experience in ERP systems, data integration, collaboration technology, machine learning, data analytics, statistics are a plus.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
