We’re seeking a Director of Developer Relations to own and implement’s advocacy strategies, to engage and inspire developers in pushing the boundaries of building AI-centric communication applications and experiences. You will develop strategies to build a growing community, attract passionate ambassadors, and establish thought leadership in relevant dev ecosystems. You will be part of the marketing leadership team, responsible for building and leading a team of advocates, and will have full ownership over the vision and strategy for developer advocacy at

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop long and short term strategic developer growth and engagement strategies that directly contributes to’s GTM objectives
  • Own the roadmap and execution of industry events, meetups, and hackathons
  • Lead and mentor a DevRel team that is focused on community, content creation, developer experiences
  • Influence product management, marketing and sales by advocating for the needs and wants of developers
  • Create content and speak at developer events and meetups to build’s reputation as a ‘top of mind’ conversation intelligence platform
  • Increase the adoption and usage of APIs
  • Build and scale an ambassador program
  • Align senior leadership and key stakeholders on developer relations strategy and impact in our community

Why we want to meet you:

  • 6+ years as a developer and/or DevRel advocate, ideally in the API ecosystem
  • 3+ years as a leader of a technical or DevRel team
  • Obsessed with developer communities and creating content that inspires
  • Familiarity with API concepts like REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, OpenAPI, and OAuth
  • You are fluent with one or more of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, PHP, Node.js, and/or C# (.Net)
  • You’ve worked at a company guided by product-led growth strategies
  • You’ve evangelized either APIs or AI/ML services to developer communities
  • Hold a degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience building on CPaaS/RTE platforms
  • Experience launching and/or scaling a developer portal
