Digital Workplace Services Associate

The Digital Workplace Associate develops, prepares, and maintains functional, configuration and network infrastructure documentation for deployed network engineering solutions and enterprise infrastructure design. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, developing documentation standards, processes, and procedures across all digital infrastructure platforms. The candidate will support security compliance processes, infrastructure Security Authorization Packages (SAP) and have an entry level understanding of network design. The candidate will leverage a variety of software platforms to develop infrastructure run books designed to support transitioning deployed engineering solutions to operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Create process documentation workflows, knowledge articles and transitional infrastructure documentation. Collect and document cross functional engineering requirements for projects and key infrastructure engineering deliverables. Develop Concept of Operations templates and create documentation repositories in support of cross functional Digital Technology frameworks. Develop process workflows aligned with infrastructure engineering, architecture and operations support structures. Develop performance metrics associated with designed and deployed engineering solutions. Support RTX MSP initiatives, including access to enterprise infrastructure and coordinating and transition and transformation programs and steady state MSP support structures. Develop and maintain infrastructure EoL (End of Life) policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance across enterprise technology frameworks. Introduce automation capabilities and process improvements to increase efficiencies associated with repeatable engineering deployment design. Assist in development specifications for Infra engineering to build the infrastructures and participate in design-related problem resolution Collaborate with network, compliance, and solution architects to ensure all high-level designs are comprehensive, complaint, and viable. Responsible for the completion of specific goals, objectives, and tasks related to this position as assigned by RTX management.

Qualifications

  • Entry level knowledge and experience with designing and integrating network infrastructure
  • Proven ability to create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and transition documentation for operational support.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels of engineering disciplines and align deliverables to specific engineering infrastructure deployments.
  • Creative problem solver
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience with collaboration and software design, including, but not limited to, MS Office tool suite, MS Teams, MS Visio, and database structures.
  • PMP training and/or certification a plus
  • Ability to process workflow modeling relevant to process improvement.
  • Proven experience in evaluating/developing technical documentation and structuring cross functional document repository databases.
  • Proven experience in evaluating technical standards and associated impacts
  • Experience working in a multi-BU, Global company is a plus
  • Experience with Archer and industry compliance tools aligning with DFARs and CMMC certification directives.

  • Typically requires 3yrs of exp with a university degree or equivalent experience
  • Location:
    Remote or any US RTX location
