Cart.com is looking for a Digital Solutions Architect (DSA) who will be a strategic partner to clients and internal teams on projects ranging from UX/UI design to custom development of digital commerce initiatives. The DSA plays a critical role in the process of taking client needs and turning them into actionable work for our implementation teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Align Cart.com technology solutions with client business strategies.
  • Maintain an open communication line with Solutions Engineers to seamlessly absorb client information from the sales process in handoffs and to feed delivery insights back to inform proposals.
  • Lead the assessment and documentation of client requirements through a structured discovery process to prioritize immediate business needs as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
  • Work closely with the Project Manager throughout duration of implementations to create and maintain a realistic project timeline.
  • Ensure requirements meet client needs while remaining within the defined project scope as Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
  • Provide recommendations for business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology as Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
  • Establish and foster stakeholder relationships and manage client expectations.
  • Refine backlog and establish a body of actionable work via Jira (project management tool).
  • Investigate problems and develop recommendations for resolution.
  • Establish measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business goals.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing handoff demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with developers to create documentation on custom developed functionality.


Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working within Agile and/or SCRUM environment as a BSA and/or Product Owner
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field
  • Experience working within a defined SDLC
  • Strong business process acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical writing skills to produce BRDs, FSDs, and PRDs
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to foster relationships across internal business units as well as with clients
  • Ability to successfully manage complex project deliverables
  • Ability to organize and facilitate successful, objective-oriented meetings


Bonus Points:

  • Experience with ecommerce platforms is preferred
  • Experience with project management tools (ex. Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Mavenlink), and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Highly organized and meticulous with documentation
