Genesys is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with the Digital & AI sales team to drive value for prospective customers and achieve revenue targets, through the combination of strong technical abilities and outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills. By working with prospective customers to understand their strategic business goals and align our solutions, you will work closely with the field sales teams and serve as the technical escalation point for field SCs.
Responsibilities:
Build a thorough understanding of customer's business challenges and demonstrate the value that Genesys Digital & AI Solutions will bring to address those challenges.
Build and deliver customized demonstrations, assisting with RFPs, conducting Proofs of Technology or Proofs of Concept, scoping implementation requirements, and leading additional technical discussions
Become a trusted advisor for prospective customers by understanding their use cases and technical requirements in order to design the appropriate solution recommendation that will drive business value
Become a product expert and keep up to date with new feature releases, key use cases, integration capabilities, and customer success stories
Mentor and guide less experienced SCs
Deliver expertise regarding the competitive landscape and emerging technologies and identify feedback and suggestions relevant to product, engineering, sales, and marketing
Work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure our solutions are driving value for our customers
Collaborate with team members globally to share learnings, best practices, use cases, and customer stories, while working together to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Qualifications:
10+ years technical sales or presales experience
Background working within Digital Customer Experience and/or Contact Centers
Experience with Artificial Intelligence, NLP/NLU, Machine Learning is a plus
Experience working in fast-paced SaaS organizations
Proficient in Demo2Win methodology
General understanding of APIs, Integrations, Security
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js is a plus
Technical Degree with Business or Technology/Software focus
Ability to present competently and confidently to senior-level decision makers
Ability to handle business and technical objections during demonstrations
Ability to develop a solid understanding of customers' business needs and technical requirements in order to map that information to a solution that meets their needs
Ability to rapidly learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a 'get it done' attitude, working cross-functionally and with the customer to overcome technical hurdles
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills; self-driven, with the ability to work independently when required
