DevSecOps Engineer, Senior
The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your DevSecOps experience across a variety of solutions undergoing modernization? As a DevSecOps Engineer, you can help to develop and configure a standard set of tools and processes to be used by individual product teams. This role is intended to be a hands-on role as well as an educational role to inform product teams where they can see improvements by adopting a DevSecOps mindset and processes. We're looking for someone with extensive DevSecOps experience as well as an understanding of how to assess where projects are in their current DevSecOps transformation.

We are looking for someone passionate about implementing and teaching DevSecOps best practices. Due to the nature of approved technology in the government space, we need an individual who can work within the tools available, while also keeping their finger on the pulse of new tools as they are approved. This role will require interacting with government customers to understand their immediate DevSecOps requirements and developing a timeline to address their needs. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in project delivery
  • 4+ years of experience leading DevSecOps efforts
  • Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of Source Control Management best practices, including GitHub
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools, including both API and UI based testing tools
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting frameworks and tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes platforms, including OpenShift, EKS, AKS
  • Experience leading projects with 99%+ SLAs
  • Experience with no downtime deployment strategies
  • Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell and Bash
  • Experience with GovCloud preferred
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • AWS or Azure Certification

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $140,000 to $160,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
