Job Description:
This role is responsible for configuring and delivering software delivery automation. Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that software deployments are configured to meet standards for access, ownership, and authentication. This role ensures software promotion release pipelines are well designed and follow Continuous Delivery (CD) best practices. These individuals are aware of development, testing practices, software delivery tools and runtime application standards at the bank and ensure they are integrated during implementation.
Position Summary
The Application Production Services & Engineering team is looking for a capable individual to perform the role and responsibilities of Capacity System Application (AIT) Owner.
This role will coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for multiple AITs and the governance, audit etc. of those applications.
  • Accountable for managing and facilitating a portfolio of application data / information and ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the technology platform meet compliance and service level objectives.
  • Accountable to manage applications in compliance with applicable bank policies and standards and meet the objectives and SLAs required of the function it supports. App Owner accountabilities include (but are not limited to) application access reviews, GIS security remediation, audits, software license management required by applications, not permitted technology remediation and support/facilitation of recovery planning and tests.
  • For applications that are vendor managed, the App Owner will work closely with their support and vendor management partners to provide technical direction as necessary to ensure the vendor's application meets the Bank's objectives, SLA's, and that all applicable information about the application is correct.
  • The named "App Owner" in the consolidated AIT/AppHQ platform will be the initial contact as the subject matter expert for the application and is accountable to ensure all information contained in systems of record about the application is correct.
  • Single point of contact and is accountable for the quality and completeness of the data on the application records in AppHQ at all times. An App Owner may assign tasks, but not accountability to the Data Proxy for the accuracy of the application record.
  • Will answer questions about technology used within the application and development activities. As the application's primary technical contact, s/he must assist with technology incident resolution by providing technical details, usage, dependencies and lead recovery if necessary.
  • May be responsible for the relationship/account management of a client/business area in all information technology activities.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of third party, vendor Application deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and stakeholders with respect to technology audits, assessments, and product compliance.
  • Ensures execution and delivery meets technology's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan and ensure re-certifications are scheduled and completed on time.
  • Partners with architecture and tech solution owner to ensure project efforts are aligned to enterprise standards and tech strategy.


Required Skills

  • 5 years' experience
  • LoadRunner
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology.
  • Competitive Windows System Admin & IIS Admin Skills.
  • Power Shell scripting.
  • Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework.
  • Application Container Knowledge.
  • Exposure and familiarity with application development lifecycle methodologies such as version control and SDLC.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills and experience as a Technical Business Analyst (Or) Product Owner, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to use multiple governed systems report and record deliverables.
  • Should possess strong Communication skills, proactiveness and ability to collaborate with partners to drive issues to completion.
  • Ability to multitask and keep track of deliverables to complete in a timely manner.
  • Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
  • Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Writing experience with policies, procedures and guidelines.


Desired Skills

  • Bank of America Technology experience highly preferred.

  • Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision.
  • Experience with various project management tools
