We are seeking a DevOps Team Lead to develop PaaS Logging services used by Applications teams. We leverage industry-standard technologies such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) to provide Logging services.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of Logging service production environment
  • Resolve Logging service issues
  • Recommend changes to improve existing services based on production experience and user community input
  • Research new tooling and propose future Logging service development (including make vs buy recommendations)
  • Synthesize requirements from internal and external partners
  • Detection and analysis of events
  • Execution of corrective actions with runbooks
  • Registration of event related incidents and their resolution with runbooks
  • Initial analysis, prioritization and investigation of registered incidents
  • Root Cause Analysis conducted and agreed improvements tracked for all severity 1 and 2 issues


REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 years minimum experience in data-focused DevOps engineering
  • Expert with Elasticsearch stack
  • Comfortable working with Docker / Kubernetes
  • Proven history of working with AWS / GCP services
  • Ability to manage 24x7 - Distributed Team Engagement Models
  • Track Engineers 'On-Call' Support for weekends (Rotation Plans)
