Job Summary:
The Site Reliability Candidate will enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in the healthcare industry. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on transformational projects related to cloud technologies and driving automation. The successful candidate will have experience configuring alerts based on log and metric outputs, providing database performance analysis, and optimizing microservice architectures in support of an industry leading SaaS product.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand system baseline metrics to determine when/where deviations occur
  • Analyze DevOps pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability in deployment operations
  • Create continuous feedback loops and work closely with cross-functional teams around the organization to support them
  • Monitor and debug Microsoft Azure resources and assist support teams with technical troubleshooting
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of platform resiliency for a highly available and always-on SaaS platform
  • Partner with QA personnel to study end user traffic during release phases
  • Be part of an on-call rotation to monitor, analyze, and resolve critical infrastructure issues and incidents, including on an emergency basis
  • Create dashboards and reports on system performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Communication and Collaboration capabilities
  • Self and Time Management skills
  • Ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment
  • Associate degree in a Computer Science, or related field, and at least two years' experience with software engineering, cloud administration or DevOps experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, and associated technology such as Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Launch Darkly, Azure and AWS
  • Significant experience with multiple database technologies, specifically Microsoft SQL and Oracle
  • Must have (or willingness to obtain) technology certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts with non-technical colleagues
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast paced, growing and rapidly changing environment.
