Infosys is seeking DevOps Lead: I n the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. This position is in Chicago IL, Indianapolis IN and Houston, TX . Candidate can work remotely from any locations within the U.S. This position will require relocation and / or travel to project locations.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Automate development, build and release pipeline using Continuous Integration Serve
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with developing containerization and clustering technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
Preferred Qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Open to learning new cloud based technologies like AWS
- Experience in provisioning AWS services using infrastructure as code tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform
- Willing to work in application/production support
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Good presentation and communication skills to express what is being worked on day-to-day activities
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
