Role Summary

Preparation for movement to git, GitHub & • Jenkins Artifactory
supporting Jenkins Master and Node infrastructure
consulting the SW integration on CI, CT & CD Methods
Training of people regarding git, GitHub, Jenkins CI & Artifactory
Bring up Solutions for Linux development environment
Enable System Test automation with GitHub for automated testing

Key Responsibilities

Jenkins CI
- Develop System Architecture & Design
- Providing and enforcing access role model and security of platform
- Consulting projects on Jenkins Job design and CI, CT and CD principles
- Worldwide streamline Jenkins Infrastructure & Methods for multiple sites (Auburn Hills, Sailauf, Pune, Palo Alto, Taiwan)
- Dynamic Multiproject Jenkins node assignment (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
Artifactory
- Providing and enforcing access roles
- Worldwide 1-2 Level support on issues
- Repository (create, maintain & setup)
- Bring up python pip repository as a standard for python at MEE
- Bring up docker repo as a storage for docker images at MEE
- Supporting migration scenarios for:
  - Migration PTC to Artifactory
- Introduction of worldwide MEE Artifactory infrastructure
  - Establishing Artifactory as the standard tool for Binary data storage (Quarter3-4 202
AutomationBookshelf
Automated setup for Engineering tools - Package Manager
- Acceptance Criteria Checker - DaveTheDoorman
- Standardise HW powersupply usage at SW test - Powersupply wrappers
- AutomationBookshelf self-deployment automation

Systems Approach

Leveraging Strength in ADAS Cameras and Interior Mirrors

Magna’s state-of-the art Driver Monitoring System detects distracted behavior, drowsiness and fatigue. The DMS is built into an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and analyzes the driver’s head, eyes and body to detect distracted or drowsy driving. The camera-based system also uses infrared sensors. It can predict when a driver might not be paying enough attention and send an alert using a vehicle’s audio or visual notifications. Magna developed this industry-first monitoring system by combining its expertise in cameras, mirrors, software and integration. The technology hits the market in 2024.

A systems approach is a huge advantage. We knew if we teamed up and made a product totally integrated into the mirror, it would give us a golden entry ticket into the market.

Reimagining Vehicle Access

Modifying a vehicle to provide greater accessibility for everyone is the goal behind SmartAccess, which reimagines the next generation of door styles beyond swinging or sliding ones. Magna’s SmartAccess solution eliminates the need for B-pillars, the vertical roof support structures located in the middle of the passenger compartment just behind the front doors. The first step in developing SmartAccess was understanding trends and spotting gaps in the market — and never settling for the status quo when it comes to vehicle access.
