In one sentence
The DevOps Specialist will lead the Infrastructure build and the integration of the cVidya systems with or without DevOps tools. In addition will provide ongoing support to other teams. The job is requiring expertise in many areas (Linux, Windows, Oracle etc.) and it's includes frequent flights to customers sites. The Technology Specialist will work with various delivery team such as Project Managers, Technical Architects, Technical Consultants, and Technical Leads for the various solution delivery projects.
What will your job look like?

  • Responsible for end-to-end installation and the integration of hardware, OS, 3rd party software and CVidya software.
  • Monitoring, maintaining and patching CVidya Systems.
  • Develop a DevOps process and document technical guide to improve and automating the installation process
  • Contribute knowledge and fixes to other teams
  • Understands application dependencies and evaluates their impact.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues making recommendations and delivering on those recommendations.


All you need is...

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in the field of computer science/IT.
  • Azure cloud Engineer knowledge and Certification - more than 4 years experience
  • Docker - Experience with containers as build artifacts, Configuration, provisioning and
  • deployment to production environments
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible or an
  • equivalent
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations (include Windows Administration and 3rd party installations)
  • Experience with Oracle 12c/18c/19c installation and Database creation (with or without ASM)
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Application Servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Groovy and Bash.
  • Background in Hadoop administration (Cloudera, Hortonworks) will be advantageous
  • Experience with configuration and operation of storage systems will be advantageous
  • Experience with installation BI tools such as MicroStrategy will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of ETL tools (i.e., Informatica power center, SSAS, Talend, etc....) and techniques will be advantageous
