Position Summary

The Parker Hannifin Enterprise Engineering Systems Team is responsible for the evaluation, purchase, implementation, and optimization of processes in the field of Design, Simulation, Manufacturing, & Product Lifecycle Management Software. We support Parker Hannifin Engineering departments globally and strive to create a fully integrated digital threadWe are looking for a Digital & IT Senior Analyst who will play a key role in leading infrastructure and DevOps activities for Engineering System applications. This role will be responsible for operation and maintenance on-premise based PLM/PDM and CAD applications to ensure high performance and reliability. Digital & IT Senior Analyst has an overall ownership of the application installation, infrastructure configurations, application monitoring and deployment activities.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Develop resilient dev-ops solutions by utilizing CI/CD tools for configuration management, source control, and deployment
  • Support projects and initiatives to deliver on strategic goals, including building automation to improve efficiencies
  • Research, test, and understand the application health monitoring tools
  • Monitor application performance, execute load tests to identify performance degrading use cases.
  • Identify and help mitigate security issues, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities related to PLM applications
  • Develop and maintain an operational dashboard to track and report on the health of PLM systems
  • Executes POCs and feasibility studies to validate next-gen product concepts, technologies, and services leveraging results to guide business and technology decisions
  • Employs continual service improvement though weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance activities
  • Install, configure, refresh and maintain instances of PLM applications.
  • Coordinate with server and database management teams to execute infrastructure activities on servers used by Engineering systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices, regulatory, and security standards
  • Normal business hours and some after-hours/on-call responsibilities

    Qualifications
    Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area(Or international equivalent)
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps focused on infrastructure or system administration
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux distributions
  • Experience with PowerShell Scripting, SCCM, Azure
  • Solid understanding and experience working in distributed systems with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems and cloud environments
  • Experience utilizing Azure DevOps tools
  • Basic networking skills used in troubleshooting issues
  • Solid understanding of agile and software development life cycle
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including version control systems such as GitHub
  • Experience with Enovia PLM and CAD tools is a plus
  • Efficient communication skills
