We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to work within our DevOps Center of Excellence. This engineer will be responsible for working with our Consulting and Managed Services teams to define opportunities to automate processes through infrastructure as code. This role will primarily develop automations code. It will also support the DevOps CoE manager in defining Coretek DevOps tools and standards. They will train and mentor other Coretek teams on how to deliver to Coretek DevOps standards and use DevOps tool sets.

The DevOps Center of Excellence (CoE) team will provide tools, processes, and procedures to ensure that all IaC and automation code developed by Coretek delivery staff are housed in a single DevOps repository and built to Coretek standards.

Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

• Develop Automation Code to Coretek Best Practices

• Stay up to date on the latest DevOps tools and trends

• Develop efficient code that meets Coretek best practices

• Document automation requirements

• Hold Discovery sessions with internal and external customers to identify automation opportunities
• Document the DevOps requirements that come from these discovery sessions
• Translate the requirements to Azure DevOps Boards to help break down and prioritize work

• Obtain and update work instructions via the Coretek Azure DevOps boards

• Access Azure DevOps boards to receive work priorities
• Update Azure DevOps boards to update work progress

• Perform QC of DevOps code as directed

• Develop standard QC checklists for the different types of Automation efforts

• Conduct QC's of other team members work as instructed

• Train Coretek Staff on Coretek DevOps Standards, Administration, and Upkeep

• Educate Coretek delivery teams on the latest DevOps trends
• Train and mentor delivery staff (internal and external of DevOps Team) as requested

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2-3 Years of scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and .NET Core
• At least 1 year of experience in Infrastructure as Code utilizing Azure ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef to automate infrastructure, server and application deployments
• At least 1 year of experience developing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working within a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) supporting Application Deployments
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub to manage code development

• Experience working inside of a consulting or managed service provider environment is preferred
