ResMed has always applied the best of technology to improve people's lives. Now our SaaS technology is fueling a new era in the healthcare industry, with dynamic systems that change the way people receive care in settings outside of the hospital-and tools that work every day to help people stay well, longer. We have one of the largest actionable datasets in the industry, creating a complete view of people as they move between care settings. This is how we empower providers-with vital insight to deliver the care people need, right when they need it.

We're also ensuring that our health solutions connect to other companies' networks. Because when objectives align, everyone wins. And as we work today to drive better care and lower costs, we're developing more personalized solutions for tomorrow, utilizing machine learning, intelligent care paths, and predictive protocols. If you are an innovator who wants to make an impact we want to talk to you! We have exciting opportunities supporting Brightree by ResMed and MatrixCare by ResMed!

MatrixCare is looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for design and development of innovative cloud native platform solutions. This position reports to our Director of Developer Productivity and will work closely with engineering leadership and in coordination with the R&D group.

Our goal is to craft a reliable, scalable, and efficient engineering platform to support MatrixCare's Out of Hospital technical solutions including software development workflows and tools, CI/CD pipelines, cloud native service workflows, and developer productivity tools. Automation is a central engineering tenet to our approach in providing engineering teams with paved road solutions. To achieve this goal, we are looking for an engineer who has an understanding of automation, software development, great design skills and a track record in building and delivering large-scale systems.

This role is a highly technical, hands-on role and the engineer will be required to develop and maintain an expertise in MatrixCare platform products.

Location: Peachtree Corners, Atlanta (preferred) OR Remote (US/Canada)

Who we are looking for
  • Someone who loves to write code and implement automation.
  • A communicator. Someone who is comfortable sitting down with high performing teams and offer their experience to help drive our organization towards a CI/CD model.
  • A change agent. Someone who understands that the purpose of being agile isn't to just make your work better, but to improve the way you work. Someone comfortable with questioning the status quo.
  • Someone who has the ability to do both tactical and strategic thinking; you are capable of solving the immediate problems in front of you, but at the same time can see 4 moves ahead. You see little fires as big opportunities.
  • Someone who understands cloud native architectures and tooling and can leverage those tools to help teams create maintainable, resilient, and scalable systems. You understand the economies of cloud computing.
  • Someone who can see that big problems are just the sum of many small problems.
  • Someone who has the drive and motivation to make things better.
  • Someone who is a life-long learner; someone who is curious.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, optimize and deploy CI/CD pipelines and IAC scripts.
  • Enable and support product teams to automate the configuration and deployment of SaaS products on our cloud platform solutions.
  • Assist in evaluating, planning, configuration, and implementation of new software services in AWS.
  • Develop custom tools and automation through scripting.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. App Insights, ELK)
  • Experience with containerization concepts and Kubernetes
  • Experience with structured databases (e.g. SQL Server, MongoDB, etc)
  • Configuration management and deployment tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
