- As a DevOps Engineer in Production Engineering, you will deploy, update, manage and maintain customer-facing SaaS production applications in a multi-cloud environment - AWS, GCP, Azure, & GovCloud
- Design and implement new Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform and Ansible
- Automate cloud provisioning, cost management, and disaster recovery in tools written in Python, Go, Java or similar.
- Monitor and investigate issues using tools like Grafana and Datadog
- Manage a large fleet of Linux instances as well as Kubernetes cluster across multiple cloud providers (AWS EKS, GCP GKE, and Azure)
- Work Closely with the customer support team to streamline the process and help the customer with their demands/requests as quickly as possible
- Ensuring service uptime by developing automation for incident response, provisioning, and retirement of systems
- Writing and modifying Infrastructure-as-Code to comply with FedRAMP, SOC2, and other accreditation frameworks as needed
- Working with other teams across the organization including Security, Development, QA, and SRE teams to balance requirements and meet common goals
- Monitoring automated software rollouts and responding to any issues that may arise
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, in one or more of AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code tools, configuration management like Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Expertise in TCP/IP networking, HTTPS, DNS, CDN, Load Balancing and services like Apache HTTPD, Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy or similar
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technologies
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
- Agile-minded, optimistic, passionate, and pragmatic about delivering valuable software to customers
- Someone who puts quality first and has a passion for good design and clean code
- Able to work productively with a geographically distributed remote team and to be able to mentor and advise other engineers you work with
- A Team player, focussed on collaboration and doing the right thing in fast paced environment
- A US Citizen based in the United States
- Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools and start building team & cross-functional relationships
- Within your third month, you will, take ownership of escalations, collaborate on and achieve quarterly OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
- Within your sixth month, you will drive developing tools and approaches to reduce toil, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction
