Role/Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will assist to implement the DevOps vision within the global business. He or she is responsible for contributing to the vision, long term strategy, and roadmap of DevOps within the organization. He or she ensures that the DevOps engineering function materially accelerates the productivity of the development, QA, and operations teams through automation and repeatable processes.

  • Use or build automation frameworks for enhancing existing applications for the software delivery and deployment.
  • Collaborate with development team to define architecture, optimize performance, and right size environments.
  • Deploy and maintain critical applications on Linux architecture, implement automation, effective monitoring, and IaC
  • Hands-on technical expert and experience working as a subject matter expert on cloud technologies.
  • Design solutions that are practical, flexible, scalable, reusable, strategic and are achieved through the application of industry proven architectural principles, standards, and governance.
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop the core DevOps processes and procedures while mentoring team members.
  • Provide recommendations around tools or processes that would be beneficial to organization.



Qualifications

  • Comprehensive (5+ years) professional experience as a DevOps/System Engineer, Architect or Technical lead.
  • 3+ years professional experience implementing/managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to adjust gracefully to changing situations, keeping team aligned and focused.
  • Ability to perform technical deep dives into IaC, cloud-based routing, systems architecture.
  • Track record of solutions using Cloud native technologies.

For Colorado-based roles only: the anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,800 to $131,750, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual performance incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
