Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Responsible for the deployment, scaling, and performance of our applications throughout entire life cycle. Ensure the process from development to production is completed smoothly, bridging the gap between Developer and Operations. Provide leadership in shaping our development environment, pipelines, and cloud architecture through our rapid growth. Assist with disaster planning and ensure our environment is secure. Incumbent provides coaching, mentoring and leadership to an agile development team tasked with the building and continuously improving enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack, the PHP development stack, or the Java/Other technologies development stack.

• Oversee the daily operations of DevOps Support teams
• Provide project leadership (track and control activities) for assigned projects.
• Report status updates accurately and ensure that direct supervisor is made aware of all problems or potential problem situations in a timely and professional manner.
• Support the development teams in Scrum/Agile methodology which includes designing, building and documenting the development pipelines.
• Design, build, and document applications involving containerization creation and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Lead efforts in defining information system requirements and system design.
• Perform program design, coding, testing, development and documentation activities of multiple inter-related programs of elevated complexity according to specifications, standards and highly complex system requirements in order to accomplish ideal business functions.
• Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives; determine valuable modifications to the program and execute improvements in order to achieve exceptional system efficiency. Responsible for drafting and revising as necessary Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
• Participate in integration, training and implementation activities.
• Develop technical specifications, project plans, development approaches and time requirements for average to large size projects or packaged software implementation under broad supervision.
• Refine and update technical/business skills and experience through work assignments, advanced technical/business training and attending professional/business industry conferences.
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

• 7+ years programming experience required.
• Experience with containers, orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins), Agile or Scrum, Bash, PowerShell, Server administration on prem and in cloud systems, monitoring and alert systems, Web server Administration (Apache, TC Server) required.
• Experience with Java, .NET, Java Script, HTML, CSS, Ruby, Python and/or PHP required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities appropriately.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to collaborate with others.
