Work you'll do

  • Support the needs of the NC3 engineering community throughout the military and federal government.
  • Provide application development, database, and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) services for an architecture built within Amazon AWS using Agile tools/methods in a CI/CD pipeline.

The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • An active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this opportunity.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience providing programming and DevOps support to a federal client (Java and Python highly preferred).
  • Experience with version control tools/platforms (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
  • Experience working with large databases (MySQL preferred).
  • Experience working with Linux and/or Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) in a software development context.
  • Extensive AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
  • Extensive experience setting up, deploying, and managing Kubernetes cluster(s).
  • Extensive Docker experience (preferably within the context of Kubernetes).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • MUST BE LOCAL to Ft. Meade, MD region.


Preferred:

  • Experience with the OpenShift Kubernetes framework
  • Experience with modern frontend web development frameworks (preferably REACT).
  • Apache Kafka experience.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot Java web application frameworks.
  • Experience with Flask/Django Python web application frameworks.
  • Experience with TwistLock.
  • Experience with KeyCloak/OAUTH2.
